Ubuntu 24.04 looks nice and smooth, and all, so far so good (for 2 days straight). A little bump on the road is this coercive taste of preventing user use python pip without venv. After all, this is one of loveable distinctive linux features - it never minds a user shoots his own leg, and this particular action is not even dangerous, just some convention made into stupid coercion.  

I think the next distro I would try would be Debian. Some time in the future close enough.
